What it’s for:
This compact Reverse Pulse Cartridge Filter system is perfect for removing dust and other airborne particles in more confined areas.
How it works:
The main advantage of cartridge units is that each filter’s individual filter surface area is huge. This allows a substantially greater airflow within a smaller area and a far smaller total filter system. These installations can have a very high efficiency for the ratio of filter cloth to air.
The Cartridge Filter is similar to a baghouse, in that a fan is used to draw air into the dust collector. The air passes through the pleats inside the cartridge . Clean air is exhausted intermittently. A jet of air is blown through the filter, dislodging any build-up on the outside of the cartridge. Gravity then assists with the free fall of the dust into a hopper and the clean air finally exists by way of a bin or screw feeder.
